Movie Discussion: The Maze Runner by James Dashner, Directed by Wes Ball

The Gossip:
Non Readers:

"Omg! I have to read this book."
"Dylan O'Brien is soo hawwttt!"
"Dude, how many books are out now?"

Readers:

"Omg. Amazing!"
"I didn't imagine the maze to be this way. LOOL."
"Dylan O'Brien! <3"

I don't think I'm the only one, but like, I didn't imagine the hole to be like that in the movie. Hahhaha. I thought it was like something they threw rocks at, and they couldn't see it? Then they found out it was like 1x1 and then they jumped? There were so many intense scenes...I loved it! But it could be confusing for non-readers in the beginning, but they'll get the gist of it soon.

I loved the casting! It was amazing! But you know, Dylan O'Brien is hot in many other movies, including this one too, but the hottest in this movie, I have to say, hands down, is Thomas B. Sangster. He was so adorable in the movie! Anyways, back to the casting and their acting. Ha. Get it? It rhymes. Okay. Jessica. Stop. The effects(are they effects?) were amazingly done, when I was watching it, I didn't notice any flaws, but if I go back to re-watch it, then I'll probably notice a lot of flaws, but let's just leave as perfect..for now. Wait. Jessica. There's no such thing as perfect! Only one person is perfect, but I will not say. (;

Movie Discussion: The Fault in our Stars by John Green, Directed by Josh Boone

What's everyone saying about this fantastic book-movie adaptation film?

NonReaders:

To be honest, I really don't know. Everyone's practically read it.

Readers:

"Omg. It was so good!"
"I didn't cry. Was I the only one?"
"I only cried when I read the book! This wasn't as heart wrenching."

"Okay? Okay." Is that everyone's favorite quote now? Why isn't it "Always." *Kiss* "Always."

Anyways, I'd say they did a fantastic job on this movie. I'm part of the "I didn't cry. Was I the only one?" group, because really, I didn't cry. I will admit that I sobbed heavily while I was reading the book. I don't know why. Probably because I already knew what was going to happen and the fact that I got over someone dying does support the fact of why I didn't cry during the movie.

I was surprised by Elgort's acting. In Divergent, he was just there in the background and the protagonist's brother. It didn't really show off much of his acting skills. But in this film? Elgort's acting was fantastic! I'd say he did amazing on his part. Let's not forget about Woodley too. She did amazing. Getting two lead roles in popular book-movie adaptations is simply stunning and she never fails to amaze her audience. The fact that she played Tris in Divergent and Hazel in TFIOS just shows how she can switch from one role to another. She did a very, very, very (100x) job!

I really wished I went on June 6th, because there would've been less people due to a Friday(I think?) and the leftover TFIOS premiere items!

Movie Discussion: Divergent by Veronica Roth, Directed by Neil Burger

 What's everyone saying?!

Non-readers:
"You know that one movie? It was so cool!"
"The popular one? Have you seen it yet? It's called Divergent!"
"Omg. It was amazing!"
Readers:
"Amazing! The action was well done."
"They left out the best scene! You know? The chasm scene!"
"Woah, the factions and the premise at the beginning. Cool!"

If I were to review this on a book-movie adaptation, there would be many errors. Like: BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. But for now, I won't and I'll review it as a non reader/reader combined.

Wee. I loved the sound effects! They were on time and not even one was off during the action scenes(or I didn't catch the mistake). The camera was steady to watch and no off-beat/off the scenes sound was caught. I don't know. It was just an amazing transfer from a book to a movie.

They missed the scene, I understand because of time, but it's like 15 minutes away from 3 hours(if I'm not mistaken and I won't search it up) and I bet you they would've had time to add that particular scene. Hey! The Amazing Spider Man #2/Spider Man movies are about 3 hours! This isn't very much of a review, it's much of a rant! Haha. No matter.

I should've went on March 20, 2014 for the premiere items! I'm so mad. Haha.

It's almost at 1million reads! Holy cows! Did you know that there will be a new director for Insurgent? And the fact that Allegiant will be split into two parts/movies?! I feel like they just want the money, I'm pretty sure they can fit a ton of stuff that happened in Allegiant in one movie. I'd prefer it to be one movie. What about you?
