Laid off after her company has downsized, Jessica Palmer moves to New York searching for opportunities. But finding a job is hard work and sitting at home doing absolutely nothing is even harder so she decides to join a gym.

There she finds Steven Benedict, a lust-inducing trainer who is sex on legs. As he gives her a tour of the amenities Fire Fitness Club provides, Jess learns that he’s charming, confident and a scent like molten lust. With her sexuality charged, she accepts an invitation to have dinner with him. What more could a girl want? But when he comes over to pick her up, she soon discovers that he’s sexual in ways she’s never known. Will his dominant nature in the bedroom scare her off? Or will she find herself a willing submissive?

Short story = short review

Crush is only 32 pages. It was way too fast paced and I just didn't like it.I think it should have been longer since there was no character development at all. The author tried to stuff everything in a small amount of pages and made it into a short story. It was lacking a lot. By doing some research on her work, all her work has been done as a short story. I think it would have made it a little better was to write it in first person point of view. Experience more I guess?
They meet at the gym and basically have sex that night. Spoiler? Well, I'm sorry. That was literally what it was about. Not much of a cliffhanger to me either.
I probably will read her other works and the fact that the first books in each series are free, well, I'm using that.
